Feb 23, 2023 · These pills are not the same! My period in alesse was 5-7 days, moderate. Sometimes heavy. PMS was significant. Now, on alysena (since Oct 2023) my period is super light, lasting 2 days, barely. My skin is very irritated, not acne, very textured and sensitive. PMS still very significant, sometimes worse.

Jan 29, 2021 · For me when I started alysena 28 I had 0 bad side effects. I’ve been on jt for months now and the only real side effect I have is a bit of weight gain from my increased appetite but other than that I’m side effect free. Definitely give it a try and see how your body likes it for at least 3-6 months.

Mar 16, 2016 · If you experience a lot of bleeding you can try a triphasic pill which has different levels of hormones per each week (unlike a monophasic such as Alesse where all 3 weeks are the same) which is supposed to mimic the body cycle better and have less side effects.
