Aug 31, 2019 · Since recent Windows 10 update my screen backgrounds have all turned black instead of usual white. Can't see how to change this in Personalisation/Settings even after changing background from 'dark' to 'light' - I'm so angry their stupid software took in upon itself to alter how I'd set the laptop up :-(. Any advice gratefully received!

If you want the Taskbar and Start Menu to be white Set 'Choose your Color' to Light 2 If you want the Taskbar and Start menu to be black or any other color and all apps to be White: Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom Set Windows Mode to Dark Set App Mode to Light .
