Existing Azure monitoring / Alert and diagnostics providing alerts on perf counters like CPU, memory and networking. Is there any KPI that we can consider as for to alert in case VM goes down.

IaaS, PaaS and SaaS are cloud computing service models. May 19, 2017 · Suppress the IaaS VM in NLB to stop the traffic coming to the VM. (apply a network security group to stop the traffic) Run the monthly patches/updates on the IaaS VM. Restart the IaaS VM; Enable the IaaS VM in NLB to allow the traffic. Move on to next server; Are there any solution available for this in Azure?

From a small business perspective its quite clear though. If a service involves the SMB spend time maintaining rather than developing, its in the IaaS camp.

Jan 25, 2020 · While considering Azure storage options like Table, Queue, Blob we have been only allowed to write applications around but not allowed to have full control like in case of VMs where we can decide OS, maintain, secure etc. Considering these limitation, is Azure storage a PaaS or IaaS? please suggest & justify.

Dec 14, 2017 · For this, I am trying couple of options like Azure Advisor, Azure metrics for CPU usage, Network I/O, Disk Read/Write parameters. But considering only these might not help. Because, your network I/O might be having load balancer requests which cannot be considered. So I need to come up w/ actual IIS requests went in during the given period.
