Which country uses AST time?Atlantic Standard Time (AST) is 4 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-4). It is used in some, but not all, American regions along the Atlantic. These include the Atlantic provinces of Canada and large parts of the eastern Caribbean. In Greenland, it only applies to the Thule military base (now Pituffik Space Base).
