A new church was completed for the congregation after the shooting.

A Judge has reportedly denied the extension of an order preventing the demolition of the Sutherland Sanctuary.On Monday, the deputy clerk for Wilson County told reporters that the judge denied the motion to extend the temporary restraining order that prevented the building’s demolition.

Members of First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs voted to demolish sanctuary, but some said they were wrongly kept from voting.
