A woman is dead following a collision in Lower Richland County Tuesday morning. The crash took place at 11:18 a.m. on  December 17 on McCords Ferry Road near Caldwell Jones Road, which is about four miles south of Eastover.

The passenger in the car, identified as 81-year-old Bonnie Moore, of Canton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Lexus was taken to Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 77-year-old woman died after her car crashed into an unoccupied vehicle in a parking lot in Long Beach, authorities said on Tuesday. The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of East Fourth Street.
