The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County is monitoring a possible rabies outbreak, after a confirmed case in the Bee Ridge area.
Their parents were two rescued otters. Their mother was near the St. Johns River in Florida and their father was found on a roadway near Brookgreen – neither could be returned to the wild.
