The Dow Jones and the other major indexes sank on the stock market today as tariffs began. Big Tech names continued to feel pain.

Stock market falls in the US have deepened as concerns grow that President Donald Trump's tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China will lead to a wider trade war. The president has followed through on a threat to impose 25% tariffs on imports into the US from Canada and Mexico, and a 20% levy against goods arriving from China.
