During its March quarter results, UPL had guided for financial year 2025 revenue growth to be between 4% and 8%, while projecting a 50% growth in its EBITDA.

Agrichemicals major UPL Ltd on 2 August reported a net loss of Rs 384 crore for Q1 FY25, as against a net profit of Rs 166 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, as lower product prices hit profitability.

Revenue growth for the June quarter was flat at 1 per cent at ₹9,076 crore over the same period last year’s ₹8,963 crore. The revenue growth was driven by a 16 per cent increase in volumes, a 14 per cent decline in prices and a negative foreign exchange impact of 1 per cent, the company said.
