Sri Lanka’s spin wizard and the world’s highest wicket-taker, Muttiah Muralitharan, has thrown his weight behind the home side, backing them to turn the tables on number one ranked Australia in the upcoming two-match Test series.

Sonal Dinusha, a 24-year-old left-arm spinning allrounder, has been named in Sri Lanka's Test squad for the two-match series against Australia, which begins in Galle on January 29.

The Seven Network has stepped in to secure the rights for Australia's Qantas Tour of Sri Lanka just 12 days before the first Test begins. Australian cricket fans were at risk of being plunged into a television black hole for the two Tests and two ODIs after no network had acquired the rights.

Sri Lanka are all set to play a two-match Test series against Australia in Galle. The first Test gets underway on Wednesday, January 29. The home side has picked uncapped players Sonal Dinusha and Lahiru Udara in the 18-man squad.
