Saharan dust coats North Texas sky as sizzling temperatures return tomorrow
The Saharan dust is lingering around the Caribbean, near Cuba, and is steadily moving toward the Gulf of Mexico. “By Tuesday morning, it is set to reach the Texas Gulf coast, bringing into the area with hazy skies during the day on Wednesday,” said Juan Hernandez, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
