State police: 80-year-old man killed after striking guardrail in one-vehicle crash on Route 7
Troopers believe that the driver of a Nissan Maxima, identified as 80-year-old Fred Hunter of Wilton, was traveling in the left lane when, for unknown reasons, the Nissan drifted from the left lane across all travel lanes, as well as the Exit 2 gore area, and collided with the metal guardrail in the right shoulder, state police said.
