Four Northeastern University grad students diagnosed with chickenpox are now isolated and receiving treatment.

Northeastern University advised that if students "do not meet the immunity criteria, get a varicella vaccine dose ... as soon as possible," according to a statement.

Four Northeastern graduate students were recently diagnosed with chickenpox, according to an email sent to students by University Health and Counseling Services Oct. 4.

The students are “are being treated for the disease and are taking all necessary precautions,” including isolation, the university said. The students live off-campus in the Boston area.
