The principal of Hardin Junior High School in Liberty County is charged with child pornography after a juvenile student and his mother came to the Sheriff's Off

The investigation began after a student and his mother made a report about a social media video allegedly sent to the student by the 56-year-old principal.

Officials said 56-year-old Dr. Chad Dwight Barrett was arrested and charged with possession/promotion of child pornography.
