Kingston and mother, Janice Turner, were accused of defrauding multiple businesses. The rapper will be confined to home until he's sentenced in July.

Mr. Kingston, who is best known for his 2007 hit single “Beautiful Girls,” and his mother were charged with defrauding sellers of high-end vehicles, jewelry and other goods, prosecutors said.

U.S. attorneys accused the "Beautiful Girls" singer of using his "celebrity status" to obtain luxury items and never paid for them.
