Max Kepler Deserves a Minnesota Goodbye
Earlier this week, the Twins announced that Max Kepler’s regular season is likely done. Kepler received a cortisone shot in his hip last week for an injury that has kept him out since the beginning of the month.

Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (knee) has been transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day injured list on Friday. That means Kepler is officially done for the 2024 season. The left-handed slugger has been sidelined since the beginning of September due to a lingering knee issue.

Tuesday, manager Rocco Baldelli said Kepler was unlikely to return during the regular season and even if the Twins make it to the playoffs, it sounds as if Kepler, who acknowledged he might need an offseason surgery for the issue, is not close to a return.
Twins' Max Kepler: Taking live batting practice
Kepler (knee) will take live batting practice Monday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. He will then go through a full workout with the Twins on Tuesday before being evaluated for a potential return. Kepler has been shelved since early September with left knee tendinitis but should return this week if he checks out well.
