Habagat season has officially ended, says PAGASA
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat season has officially ended, PAGASA said on Monday. “Recent analyses showed a significant weakening of the Southwest Monsoon over the past few days,” said PAGASA. “Moreover, the strengthening of the high-pressure system over East Asia has been observed ang gradually changed the weather patterns in the country.”

The southwest monsoon season or "habagat" officially ended, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). Pagasa Administrator Nathaniel Servando cited data that indicated significant weakening of habagat over the past few days.
