Gas prices drop to lowest Labor Day level since 2021
Gas Buddy reported that the average price of gas for this holiday would go down to $3.27 cents per gallon. They say this is the lowest Labor Day price since 2021. But while some drivers are seeing the drop in gas prices one driver says he has not been seeing that much relief at the pumps.
Gas prices are falling fastest in these states
For instance, in 2020, US gas prices averaged $2.22 a gallon on Labor Day, according to GasBuddy. Of course, that ultra-low price reflected very low demand during the Covid-19 crisis, a calamity that briefly sent oil prices below zero.

According to data from AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Florida is $3.29, nearly 40 cents lower than the same time last year.
