ROTTERDAM — All westbound lanes on the Thruway have reopened following a crash involving a box truck and tractor-trailer at Exit 26 that diverted traffic Tuesday as snow blanketed the region.

“For the safety of motorists, investigators, and highway officials, State Police closed Route 3 South at exit 27 and diverted traffic onto Route 139 in Pembroke,” state police said in a statement.

Police said all northbound traffic in that area is being diverted to Bees Ferry Road. Delays are expected to last for an hour to 90 minutes, police said.
