An investigation is underway in southwest Houston after an elderly man in his 70s was found dead in his apartment, according to police.

HOUSTON – A woman was found dead inside an apartment in the Westchase area of Houston Tuesday night. Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department said officers responded to an apartment complex located near the corner of Westpark and S. Gessner around 8 p.m. on a reported shooting and disturbance.

A woman was shot and killed Tuesday evening during a disturbance at an apartment in southwest Houston, HPD said.
