This museum is amazing!! (It's a Smithsonian affiliate) First, there's a short informational movie, then you get a headset to do a self-guided tour. The narration is great, also includes songs. T… Full review by MstqMI

Nice displays. Enjoyed it with my teen. We bought the combo ticket to include the Memphis Hall of Fame Museum as well. The narration is nice to use. Full review by Beachnsb

I am not a country music fan (my wife is) but I enjoyed this museum especially because of the music you can listen to; I even danced during the visit. Highly recommended given that there is nothing,… Full review by FandangoEspanol

It probably depends on when you go. We had no trouble in April. There is a combo with the Memphis Music Hall of Fame and it is only $5 more, I think. That is all it I worth too. Pretty small and mostly costumes. But Rock and Soul was awesome! Took us 3 hours.

Kruse2007... It takes most guests between 1 and 1.5 hours. However, the Smithsonian-developed exhibition includes over 300 minutes of information, and almost 100 songs which lead our guests through the evolution of Memphis' rich musical history.... so some guests have spent several hours within our galleries. We hope to have you as a guest at the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum

TCnative... By total access plan, I assume you are referring to Memphis' "Backstage Pass" the discount combo ticket between the city's 4 most popular music attractions. By buying a "Bacjkstage Pass," and therefore making an advance purchase of your admission ticket to Graceland, Rock 'n' Soul, Sun Studio and Stax, you save over 20% and more than $17 than if you purchased your tickets separately. Even if you are going to Graceland and only 2 of the other 3 music attractions, you still save over the regular admission prices. When a "Backstage Pass" is purchased, the customer's credit card is charged just as if they purchased any admission ticket. If you have any other questions, call Rock 'n' Soul and they will put you in touch with me (Trip Advisor doesn't lime me posting my phone number). And, trust me, those 4 attractions celebrate America's music better than any other attraction(s) in the world.
