Based on the government website it seems like the Ash Meadows visitor center is closed from November to March, but maybe that's not true. Is it? At any rate, can I go into the Refuge and walk around and explore this time of year? Thanks for any information you might offer.

There were no gated entrances prohibiting our drive.

We will be traveling to Arizona in March 2018. We will have our Yellow Lab with us and wish to stop at Ash Meadows. But only if she can walk around with us. (yes, ON leash). Thanks, Sueann & Robert
