I am visiting Monet's Garden soon, and want to know if the paths are gravelled? I am thinking of taking my rollator, and it is very difficult to push it on gravel, as it has small wheels. Are there many seats there? If I don't use my rollator, I will need to find plenty of seats in the garden. Are there any wheelchairs available there to borrow for the visit?

This is a difficult place to visit with mobility challenges due to crowds, gravel walkways, small stairs going from the main garden, under the road to the famous pond and many stairs in the house. I doubt wheelchairs are available due to the narrow paths and many tourists. I'm sorry to say this isn't up to the same mobility standards as expected of tourist sights in the USA. Good luck!

There isn't a specific day ticket advertised for this route, but regular train tickets allow for round trip travel on the same day. Tickets start at around €8 (US$9) and the journey takes about 1 hour each way. You can purchase tickets online through SNCF Connect, the national railway company of France. Be sure to book your tickets for the Monet's Gardens in advance, especially during peak season. Tickets can be purchased online on the Giverny website. The train station in Vernon-Giverny is located about 3.5 kilometers from the gardens.
