We loved our time at the zoo, the animals enclosures were so good! Hannah the staff member talked about the sun bear and she was really informative. So many cool and interesting species of animals. Full review by 660julieannec

i took my daughter there in a wheelchair and i was very determined to look at everything but i have to admit its hard going along the paths because of steep bits and tree roots and gates and railway track etc but its SO worth going!!!!! i wouldn't have missed it for the world!! if you take two people to help with the wheelchair it probably will be easier, and usually someone would open a gate for you while they pass through. if you're able to manage, which i hope you do, its so worth it. and the food is nice!! i hope you and your dad have a nice time, just maybe bring another support person with you

You will definitely have plenty of time to visit the zoo in a day. I had 4 kids with me who lingered at their favourite animals and we needed up going over our time because we loved the walk in enclosure where all the kangaroos were that you could feed along with the farm animals. 3-4 hrs is more than sufficient and that included us eating lunch there. I would guarantee purchasing the zoo entry ticket along with the pineapple train ticket so you can get a tour around the pineapple plantation and hitch a ride to the entry and back to the exit. If you get the train - you should park by the big pineapple and not the zoo entry.
