A very interesting zoo at Darling Harbour, populated only by native Australian animals. There's a lot to see, but it's expensive to visit. Full review by Ogi0

A:
They have koalas and kangaroos in cages. If you do the koala encounter, you can have a picture with a koala. If you do breakfast with koalas, you can eat with koalas around you.

I have no experience of that particular topic I'm afraid. However, these days I would be surprised if your gluten intolerant family members couldn't find somewhere nearby if the Zoo didn't cater for them. Sydney, and particularly Darling Harbour, is packed with places to eat of course and the natives are extremely friendly I found so could point you in the right direction if necessary.

Yes, but Taronga zoo or symbio are probably better for this.

Hi there, you can take photos with the kangaroo at the back of you, but you cannot touch them, they do not have interactive place in there except for some birds life like parrots and in particular for the kids. If you would like to feed and cuddle them, you can do that at Featherdale Wildlife Park Zoo at Doonside NSW. Hope this will be helpful for you. Regards, Giuseppe.
