Hello, yes you can look around, but as with any old castle/building not easy for anyone with walking problems, with lot's of uneven surfaces. Hope this helps you.

There is a cafe immediately outside the castle walls in the car park. We didn't use it but it seemed quite popular. I hope this helps?
