You have to buy the ticket from the kiosk which is the strip & it is &5 for a day unlimited pass for the day

Yes, we took the 42 bus to Pearl Harbor. Be sure to allow plenty of time; it took us about an hour and 40 minutes to get there from Waikiki, although the return trip was much quicker.

You can pay cash when you get on board. They don’t take credit card. The $5 you pay gives you all day usage of the trolley between Ala Moana and Waikiki hotels
