This is a beautiful uphill, yes challenging for me, hike through beautiful forests. The shade is nice if hiking in the summer. At the end, you have the Cascade Falls which are very pretty. Recommende… Full review by Debra R

Great afternoon hiking the Cascades NR Trail. Get there early to get a parking spot. Bring cash to pay the park fee. There are real bathrooms at the trailhead. Definately recommend the lower trai… Full review by jmktravelsalot

I have a 10yo and 12yo daughters that can do the trail with no problems. It is a moderate trail in that the inclines in some spots are long and steep but if you take your time on them they are no problem. The trail is WELL maintained and you have the choice of taken the upper trail which is dirt and about 5 or 6 foot wide. The lower is also well marked but has some climbing on rock steps and stuff. All in all it is a great trail and one of our favorites.
