I don't know but I wouldn't want to go up or down those steps when it is dark. They are difficult and scary. Thank goodness there is a railing to help.

Old Baldie or lookout mountain is a public area. Just drive there and walk up the steps. There isn't a booth or anything that someone works at. It's just a lookout area for Wimberley.

Just keep them on leash. Very friendly dogs at top of steps when we visited.
