Fantastic place for a day outing with family in Dar. Roads are excellent. Baboons don't eat biscuit. Instead feed them papaya and chips. Also one botanical garden there as well as museum inside. howe… Full review by rajesh a

It's quite a way from the city centre on a very bad road. You also need to catch the ferry back, so plan accordingly. To be honest, it's not really worth the effort to get there
I can't remember exactly but if it was US $8 for Foreigners locals were something like TSH3,000 or TSH4,000. But don't hold me to it it was last August when I went.:)
