As its name says try to be there before sunset. Imo, this is by far the best beach on north Oahu shore. Parking in front of the beach, as well across the road where're the restrooms. During our visit… Full review by BrakiWorldTraveler

This was our last stop on our North Shore adventure from Waikiki. We hoped to make it to the beach by sunset, but we were only able to catch the tail end. Regardless, it was a great beach! Full review by stephaniephilly

A huge winter swell had hit the week we were here which made for some epic waves! Lovely beach to sit on and have a beer in the late afternoon sun and watch the waves and the surfers! Full review by IMEMMAJANE

Q:
What happens when there are surfing championships, do you pay to watch? and what about parking your car?
A:
No admission fee and may have to park along street quite a distance away. However, there are miles of hike/bike trails that parallel the street.
