Depending on where you are staying (outside the LA area)...you may want to look into public transport.....which will take you to Los Angeles Union Station, and you can easily transport via light rail or Subway to Pasadena, Hollywood & Highland, or even Santa Monica Pier and beach. From outlying areas, you would look for METROLINK You could purchase a single day pass, that gives you access to Metrolink Trains, then easily connect to Metro subway and/or light rail...... This would definitely save time & money......and you won’t have to drive, and fight LA traffic at all.

Has anyone done the hop on hop off from Anaheim to LA? How was it? Worth the hassle to spend the extra time driving to and from Anaheim or did you need more time to really see everything? Or would you recommend Ubering to LA and getting on the bus there?
A:
I picked up the hop on from the hotels by airport and it worked out well. Depends on what you want to see but you will need at least a couple of days to do all 3 routes
Q:
Is it a double decker bus with open air viewing on top?
A:
The night tour was a shuttle bus similar to what a an airport shuttle uses. The hop on hop off were open on the top. The tour of the stars homes was an open top van
