St Andrews Botanic Garden is a living research and conservation experiment where we explore the ways ecology and evolution unfold in the plant kingdom - right at the heart of historic St Andrews. We're home to some of the most dynamic plants and habitats, from both Fife and around the world. We aim to address the new combination of challenges the natural world is facing with positivity, creating an ecologically vibrant place to explore and learn about evolution and botany. Our newest addition is the Tangled Bank, showcasing the very best of North East Fife plant life. Incorporating sand dunes, meadows, glades, meandering grass paths and a boardwalk, the Tangled Bank is a beautiful space to spend time.
