Fantastic museum & zoo. Some of the zoo exhibits have not been able to replace animals that have "aged out" because of Covid and its after-effects. However, you can still see cougar, ocelot, bobcat… Full review by Stay14935410812

I think as a general rule Spring is the best, say from mid-March to late April is a good time to see the desert in bloom, at least that was my experience growing up. It may be a good idea to get in touch with a botanical garden in Arizona and people there might have a better sense of specific conditions yearly.

If today is the only day you will be in the vicinity, go for it. If you can put it off a day or two for drier weather do that. Either way you will love this place.
