Hi. I read that you will be opening on 20 June 2020. Is it ok if we want to go just for some snow fun around 16/17 June 2020. I mean, do you allow it? Coz we will be coming from Wanaka going towards Queenstown then head over towards Dunedin.

You’d be able to walk around the building to the trails which hopefully are covered with snow. Just the building where you can hire equipment would not be available.

Heya, we had a all wheel drive SUV with snow mode etc. It was my first time up a mountain to snow. It was one of the most terrifying drives of my life and I was the passenger! With that said it was an adventure. We had never used chains before either and found them very hard to put on, people weren't as helpful as I hoped they would be... I would opt for a shuttle bus if the van isn't 4x4.
