I will overstate the obvious. The views are spectacular. Pictures will not do these Red Rocks justice. The hiking is fantastic, but again, get to the parking lots by 6:30am or take the shuttle or you… Full review by BodaZeffa

This is a great hike but be prepared for hills and rocks to maneuver. Take water and sunscreen. This is a beautiful area with spectacular views! Full review by gwenw184

As everybody will tell you, it's a short walk on the easy side for everybody including old fellows like me. The importance of getting there reside in how much time you have to invested here stead of using it to visit other places. If you are going to stay around the area for more than three days: Sure go for it. If not, I recommended to avoid this one for a more gratifying experiences in the so many in Sedona independently of the weather. Butt with one exception: If there is rain present on those days (except when you are going to see this place) you should take your chances to see it when water pile on the pools . Check the pictures in the web to figure out the better angle for photography, which for me is facing the water running away with the mountains reflected on the water. The sun position have a lot to do with it, so go visit not in the middle of the day and preferably when the sun is not hitting the lens. Insist to the people around to not get in the pools to maintain the surface undisturbed to capture the reflection pristine. Have fun!!!..:)
