Such a great place for kids! This was our second trip to KC to do this museum. We took my daughter in 2021 at the age of 3 and she was STILL talking about it so we decided to go again this year. Full review by Anna L

Would you recommend that we plan to stay all day (10 am - 5 pm) or go for a few hours? We are coming from out of town so only going one time.

A few hours (2-3) depending on the ages and energy levels if your kids. A lot of hands on activities for kids through adults. You can have lunch at a couple of places in Union Station …
A few hours (2-3) depending on the ages and energy levels if your kids. A lot of hands on activities for kids through adults. You can have lunch at a couple of places in Union Station or walk over to Crown Center on the fly over walk way where you will find multiple restaurants as well as Leggo Land and Crayola Land activities. Google “Crown Center” in Kansas City, MO. Hallmark Cards museum is also there. If you wabt to do all that, you can spend a day...and be totally exhausted.

It’s more of an interactive thing for kids to play and you can spend as little or as much time as you want. There’s plenty to do! There are lots of other things to do in Union Station, though, if that’s what you’re asking about and, again, I think you could spend as little or as much time here as you wanted.
