Cool Architecture and History. We didn’t have difficulty finding it. It was worth the walk though-for a traveler sightseeing.Full review by TimB929

Don’t bother. We spent about 30 minutes trying to find the entrance, which was round the back and down a side street, because who needs signs. We were then relieved of 100dh each to walk past a few t…Full review by 836harryn

It works out as about £5.50 gbp. I made a chart that i saved in my phone as i got confused at times with converting. It came in handy. British Pound into Dirhams and then i took a third of the Dirham for when i wanted to haggle (gave me a price to start with for haggling in the market). Saved so much time as i just opened up my phone to check. £ = LDirham Haggle start price £1 = 12 D 8d £2 = 25d. 18d £3 = 38d 26d £4 = 50d. 37.5d £5 = 63d. 41d £6 = 76d. 50d £7 = 88d. 58d £8 = 101d. 67d £9 = 114d. 76d £10 = 116. 77d £11 = 138. 90d £12= 152d. 100d 13 = 165d. 110d £14 = 177d. 118d £15 = 190d. 126d £16 = 203d. 135d £17 = 215d. 143d £18 = 228d. 162d £19 = 241d. 160d £20 = 253d. 168d £25 = 317d. 205d £30 = 380d. 253d £35 = 444d. 296d £40 = 507d. 338d £45. = 571d 380d £50 = 634d. 442d £55 = 698d £60 = 761d £65 = 824d £70 = 888d £75 = 951d £80 = 1015d £85 = 1078d £90 = 1142d £95 = 1205d £100 = 1269d

Hello Chris~ thank you for those 5 great reviews. We have reservations to also stay at the Riad Karmela. We're going to be there 11 days. Oct. 1 -15. My question is: do we need reservations for your 4 recommendations (incl. the restaurant)? And did you take any excursions from the hotel or recommend any of them? I think the hotel is going to be perfect! It's our first visit to Marrakesh. Christine G

Hello, I’m sure you’ll have a great time in Marrakesh. We took an excursion up to the Atlas Mountains and this was arranged easily with the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and gave us a lot of tips on how to get round the souks, find taxis, what you should expect to pay and very good strategy advice for haggling in the souks. The souks are wonderful and the storekeepers are not too persistent - if you’re not interested just walk away. We booked Nomad for dinner, it’s advisable, and again the hotel did this for us. Let Jardin is good for lunch and you probably don’t need to book then. We didn’t pre-book for any of the other places we visited round town and as long as you are not visiting at peak times you should be OK. If you like a glass of wine with your meal not all restaurants offer this so if it’s important check first. The hotel does and the wine there is inexpensive, good and the food is as well but traditional Moroccan so it’s not for every night. Hope that’s helpful and you have a great holiday - I’m sure you will Best regards Chris
Q:
Can anyone let me know what time the tombs open from during Ramadan?
A:
Hello - the tombs are visited by many visitors so I would imagine that it's open at least 10-4, but I can't be sure.
