This was our first visit. The lake & cypress trees are majestic. We enjoyed seeing the eagles, owls & hawks. Want to return when the trees are leafed out and take photos at sunset! Full review by TravelDiva001

First time visiting Reelfoot Lake for my wife and I. We decided to make the drive from Memphis to check out the migrating bald eagles and we're not disappointed. Can't wait to go back. Full review by Houdiniman7

The tour guides are excellent at spotting them out roosting in the trees. They stop and get out of the bus and set up telescopes if they are far away so that everyone can sneak a peek. I would think you would still be able to see them although they get fewer in number the later you get in February. Morning time is the best time to see them actively flying as that’s when they are hunting for food. After lunch, they roost in the trees a lot. Seriously the snow geese are magnificent spectacles, and is go again just to see them in their groups of tens of thousands!

We did a self-guided tour by auto. I would allow at least three hours to take the drive around this area, and be sure to check out Boyette's restaurant, which is nearby, if you like catfish, and good home-style cooking. I am including the park's phone number, so you can call them for a guided tour, with eagle watching, if you wish to go that route. I'm not sure about their time scheduling for these tours. (713) 253-8003. Enjoy!

I believe so.This is their phone number: (731) 253-8003. It's a really cool place to spend some time! Try Boyette's Restaurant, which is nearby. It's simply awesome!
