Is there somewhere to have lunch at the aquarium, looking at coming in late morning & then having lunch before heading back to hotel. Or if there are any places close by to eat at any suggestion please?

Good Thai food and surprisingly good burgers and fries. Or cafe Kantary if you are looking for something lighter ( a toasted sandwich). Have a great trip

Kids liked it. Don't get all excited about the "show" though. There was a huge banner there (as of a few months ago) that advertised in exciting big red letters that there was a show a few times a day. This "show" was a 10-minute projection in an empty 20-person theatre, featuring a talking mermaid robot statue. But overall we found it a decent place to pass a rainy day. However, they do have dual pricing - where foreigners are charged a MUCH higher price.
Q:
What's the price per ticket here
A:
For farang its about 200 bath per person if i remember right. It was around that amount anyway. Locals go free.
Q:
How do I get there from Phuket town
A:
There is a local two rows bus, but only for the students only in the morning and afternoon. Better take taxi.
