Ok it’s a weird place but somehow still impressive for the story and its scale of a folly. Expensive at €19 for two and very much a ‘tourist trap’ with more expensive cafes/souvenir shops around it.… Full review by purplemyrtles

It was a holiday weekend and although we had booked the 17.30 slot, it was still quite crowded and a lot noise. Quite expensive for 9 euros for less than an hour to walk about and admire the detail.… Full review by juliebarrett1964

Hi Jean: The closest International airport is Lyon (LYS) as far as I know. I am not aware of any tour that takes this site in as part of the itinerary, but I would encourage you to call Palais …

I am not aware of any tour that takes this site in as part of the itinerary, but I would encourage you to call Palais Ideal directly and ask them: Tel. +33 (0)4 75 68 81 19. Hope this helps. PS: Driving in this area and places south of Lyon is quite easy and congestion free.
