I'd say go before tons of people come like around 8 or 9 and leave at 3 or 4 it's a nice experience and gives you time to eat the good food and look at all the animals and maybe enjoy the water park a little bit.
How long does it take the average person without children to walk around and see everything?
A:
I'd say 90-120 minutes depending on how much time you spend viewing the animals. It's got a couple of hills within the park that provide a nice workout while walking.
Where would you recommend to spend the night when bringing a toddler to the zoo for a day and an overnighter? Somewhere easy access and with a kid friendly pool. Any suggestions?
A:
Residence Inn in Hurstbourne is nice - can’t recall if they have a pool though. We stay at these hotels when traveling w/kids because they have full kitchens
