This is a grand and beautiful building, located near the Freedom monument. Unfortunately, there were no operas playing nor tours during out visit, so we could just admire the building's lovely exteri… Full review by TheShis
Can anybody tell me if the lower priced tickets are very restricted views? I’ve read mixed reviews which is a little confusing. Or any seat recommendations would be appreciated.

its designed so no one has a bad view, I had the £5 tickets and I was just at the top so looked straight on to stage, that's better if theres a live orchestra aas it would be very loud at the bottom

Yes, there are English surtitles for all opera performances. But due to technical reasons you can't see them from all seats. If you want to see translation don't choose seats in the 2nd and 3d row in side boxes and starting from 3d row in the middle section of 2nd balcony.
