Yes an hour would do it, it is close to the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag and Gypsy Memorial so as part of a hit in that area it’s perfect… Bon voyage

It’s not a museum. Almost like a cemetery of granite blocks in rows. Very appropriate for 11 year old. You should search the internet for a photo of it.

Whilst we were in the museum there were several groups of school children, some much younger than 11. I did wonder whether it was a suitable venue, but there were no photographs of the horrors, mainly explanations of the lives led and pieces of memorabilia. The architecture is also spectacular as is the garden at the rear.
