Very sad, but the area had so much trash along the shore, especially the northern end. The middle area of the beach was okay. Full review by Amanda G

Questions & answers

Q:
can you swim in the sea and is it safe. Can anyone recommend a good hotel will pool thanks
A:
The sea is safe and great! Life guards are on during peak season.. why look for a hotel with a pool and miss out on the views! However an amazing hotel is the slate.
Q:
Is there any swimming pool without staying in Nai yang beach? I'm willing to pay for it.
A:
i am not sure. I would email nearby hotels and ask them. You might ask Proud Phuket or some smaller hotels next to the beach.

Q:
We arrive at phuket airport at around 9pm, by the time we get through immigration and get to our hotel in Nai Yang, will there be any bars / restaurants still open to have a drink and something to eat and in the morning for breakfast? It looks like the hotel we are looking at (himaphan) doesn't have a bar or restaurant. Alternatively is there a better hotel with facilities close by for a one night stay before heading to Patong? Any feedback appreciated.
A:
A bit of touch and go - restaurants at Nai Yang beach generally close between 10pm-11pm. If you re running late, you may be better off grabbing some food at the airport first
