The view at the end of the hike is breathtaking. The journey to get there was very difficult, the majority of the trail is pitted rock. I was constantly watching for my next step. I did not read any …Full review by alexandraseil

It was a bit challenging, but grateful we wore proper hiking boots. It had rained the day before so most of the rocks were a bit slick and there was lots of mud. The hike had a lot of tree coverage, …Full review by LDP2929
Hi I'm planning a day trip to Lions Head look out with my family including our Jack Russell and would like to know what is the best place to park and is there anything I should know prior to going with my dog?

Please be aware that the trail to the Lion's Head lookout borders a residential area - you are welcome to come here if you do so respectfully - stay on trails, do not trespass on private property, any items you take in must be taken out - in other words - PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE LITTER BEHIND ON THE TRAILS OR THE ROADSIDE, please use the porta potties located in the Municipal parking lot (don't urinate along the roadside close to people's home), if you smoke, don't do so out on the trail - or if you must, please extinguish your cigarette and bring it out with you - do not drop it in the forest or along the trail. July 14th - smouldering camp fire was found by a hiker which could have spread quite easily but was taken care of by the Lion's Head VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT. Your playground is our home and we'd like to keep it beautiful, safe, and peaceful.

Hello, I am planning to do this hike within the next few days. I was wondering if there are any points where you can access the water/beach, or if it is all up on the cliff? If you can access the beach at any point, where on the trail can you do so? Thanks!

Sorry just got this - on our trail it was all up top. The town has a great beach though!
