We've been to Colorado many years but decided to take this in. It was a sweet little hatchery with a lot of history to tell. Very nice would highly recommend going and feeding the fish! Full review by terri8259

Yes it is free - the Friends of the National Fish Hatchery do provide a receptacle inside the main building where you can make a donation. Also you can buy a guide brochure for $1.00 and if you want to feed the fish [great fun] there are 25 cent vending machines by the ponds that dispense the pellets.
