There is no way to predict what will happen in a month or so. But I can tell you this. Monitor where the fires are to the west of the Lassen area since the prevailing winds come from that …

There is no way to predict what will happen in a month or so. But I can tell you this. Monitor where the fires are to the west of the Lassen area since the prevailing winds come from that direction. Make some calls to areas around the Lassen vicinity, they will be more willing to be honest with you about conditions. Have a plan b closer to/on the coast where the air will likely be better. Have no compunction about cancelling your original spot if the fires or the smoke gets bad. Smoke can be deadly too. Expect your money back if you do.
