Census data shows that in relation to the ethnic distribution,43.4% of the population are of Mixed origin, 35.2% are Africans, 10.2% are Amerindians, and 9.9% are East Indians. Portuguese, Chinese and Whites account for 0.2%, 0.1% and 0.1%, respectively, of Kuru Kururu's ethnic landscape.
