I've wanted to check out this place for ages and finally there was a concert I could get to. With much anticipation I got on line early to get inside when the doors opened and have time to take it a… Full review by KimMcMann

I saw two Bob Dylan concerts here. It was fairly quick getting in as they were well-staffed. Bob Dylan does not permit phones to be used so the phones have to be put in Yondr pouches. This can ca… Full review by Dylan3961

There's no official King's Theatre parking lot. A block away is a huge shopping parking lot by Sears. Most people park there and walk over. The theatre usually open their doors for patrons to go thru security check points at least an hour prior so I would go early, get a spot by the huge parking lot, walk over and check in. Use the restrooms, order up some drinks (loaded or not) some munchies and settle in. Note: on Sundays if you are lucky you can find parking on the streets around the theatre and not be afraid to donate to the city IYKWIM (If you know what I mean). Save your donations to the church not the city:-) Enjoy your show and I hope this helps!
Tavern/ pub in area to meet before/ after shows, possible with bar food. Suggestions??

Just went to a very nice German pub/restaurant 15 walk or 5 minute drive away. It's called Werkstadt. It's on Coney Island Avenue between Church and Beverley.
I've read and heard that this neighborhood is questionable. I'm looking for a restaurant to go to, before the show, that is close to the theatre. Any suggestions?

We (3 women) walked down Beverly Road towards Coney Island Avenue and ate at the Purple Yam (about a 10 minute walk). No problem with the neighborhood or it's constituents. Here are the recommendations a friend who lived nearby gave to me: "great pizza at lea, life-changing hummus at mimi's (everything on the menu's great). purple yam is delish asian-fusion. farm on adderly is good farm-to-table". We got there about 2 hours before the show and parked on the street 2 blocks away. This is New York -- there's never a neighborhood that doesn't have it's charms.
